Why did you take Roger CPA Review?
I took Roger CPA review based on feedback that I had received from some old co-workers who had taken the cram courses. They had very positive experiences and recommended that I take the courses.
How did you hear about our review course?
I heard about the review course through coworkers, as well as one of my father’s coworkers who worked with Roger when he was at Deloitte.
What was your favorite aspect of our course? (materials, Roger, etc)
My favorite aspect is by far Roger and the way he presents. He brings a ton of energy and spirit to the lectures. His humor makes the more tedious subjects much more enjoyable and relatable.
How has passing the exams affected your personal and professional life?
Passing the sections has felt like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Since starting it has always felt like a giant dark cloud hanging over my head. Passing the sections has made that dark cloud turn into a nice sunny day.
Anything else you'd like to share?
I have struggled with the CPA Exam for a long time. Roger’s energy and lecture style has made it possible to get through this very challenging test. I am very grateful to have found Roger’s course and get these tests out of the way.
Any words of advice for those studying for the CPA exam?
Do it as soon as you can. I didn’t listen to the people who told me to get it done as soon as possible. I instead focused on establishing myself at work, and have paid for it later in my career. Getting the tests done as early as possible is key.
“TT, BPO, 75 or 90." -- Roger Philipp. My girlfriend happened to over hear this lecture and kept asking how many times is he going to say that? Well, many times--and it helped make it stick.
