No matter where you are in your college journey, it's important to get actively involved on campus to increase career opportunities as soon as possible. Here's how.
If you're still in school there's plenty of opportunities to network, specifically what comes to mind is becoming involved with student organizations, Beta Alpha Psi, accounting societies, they're great venues to network but my recommendation, my advice there is be active, just don't show up at the various meetings, become an officer of those organizations. Another way as a student to network is firms are often present on campus, they host socials, they deliver presentations, get to know the individuals that are currently working with those firms. They may be your future employer. Get to know them, they also get to know you so it's a benefit from both sides.
