White Collar Worker

Person who does not do physical, manual labor; an office or clerical worker; a worker who works with his mind instead of his hands.

In a plumbing business, the plumber who fixes the pipes is called a blue collar worker. The person who answers the phone to schedule appointments is called a white collar worker. The white collar worker is not doing physical labor. In lawn mowing business, the people who mow the lawns are called blue collar workers. The person who keeps the books is called a white collar worker.
