Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: 120 semester units (180 quarter units) 

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate 

Additional Requirements: 20 semester units must be in accounting courses

Residency Requirements

Citizenship: Candidate must be a U.S. citzen.

Minimum Age: 21

Additional Requirements: Candidate must be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Educational Requirement: 120 semester hours (including requirements completed for exam)

Experience Requirement: Must have 2 years of public or government accounting work experience in auditing or as internal revenue agent IF a accounting degree is completed OR 3 years if non-accounting degree is completed

Ethics: Provide 5 letters of reference (2 from any contact, 3 from practicing CPAs); NCIC Criminal background check; Tax Clearance letter from IRS
