CPA Exam Requirements
Credit Requirements: 150 semester units (225 quarter units)
Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate with 150 semester units
1: Graduate Degree- 24 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in upper division accounting courses and 15 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in graduate level accounting courses which must cover financial accounting, auditing, taxation and management accounting or combination of both.
2: B.A. Degree- 30 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours which includes 16 hours in upper division accounting courses and 8 hours in graduate level accounting courses which must cover financial accounting, auditing, taxation and management accounting.
3: Undergraduate degree in accounting or business:16 semester hours in upper-division courses, including at least two hours for each of the following: financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting 8 semester hours of graduate accounting courses, including at least 1 hour for each of the following: financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting
12 hours in upper-division business (non-accounting) courses
12 hours of graduate level business courses
Another 12 hours of either upper-division or graduate accounting or business courses
4: Undergraduate degree: It is possible that if you have enough accounting and business credits you could be qualified.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required.
Minimum Age: None
Additional Requirements: It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state.

Educational Requirement: 150 Semester hours including Bachelor's Degree
Participates in International Exam Program: Yes
Experience Requirements: 1 year experience gained through employment in industry, government, academia or public practice. 2 years experience for CPAs providing attest services
Ethics Exam: Must pass AICPA Professional Ethics Exam with at least a 90%
