New Hampshire CPA Requirements

Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: 120 semester units (180 quarter units) are required in the New Hampshire requirements to take the CPA exam

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate with 120 semester units

Additional Requirements: 30 semester hours of accounting courses. The accounting credits shall include coverage in financial accounting auditing, taxation, and management accounting

Residency Requirements

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required 

Minimum Age: None

Additional Requirements: It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state

Social Security Requirement: Yes

Educational Requirement: 150 hours including Bachelor's Degree with accounting concentration 

Participates in International Exam Program: Yes

Experience Requirements: 1 year experience which can be gained through public accounting and/or governmental agencies
