Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: Dependent on Degree Held

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate degree

Additional Requirements: 30 upper level hours in ACCT or 20 graduate hours in ACCT or a combo of both. Must complete additional 30 hrs within 3 years of passing the last section of the exam

Residency Requirements

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship not required

Minimum Age: None

Additional Requirements:  It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state

Social Security Requirement: Yes

Education Requirement: 150 semester hours 

Participates in International Exam Program: Yes

Experience Requirements: 1 year experience through employment in government, industry, academia, or public practice
