CPA Exam Application Checklist
Does the CPA Exam Application process have you overwhelmed? Follow these simple steps and become one step closer to your goal.
|Step 1:||Research and complete your state's education requirements to sit for the CPA Exam.* (If you are in a provisionary state you may be able to sit for the exam a few months before completing all education units but will have to prove that you are close to completion)|
|Step 2:||Enroll in the Roger CPA Review course package of your choice.|
|Step 3:||Apply to sit for the CPA Exam. Visit www.nasba.org/exams/cpaexam, choose your jurisdiction and follow the steps.|
|Step 4:||Submit transcripts and application fee.*|
|Step 5:||Receive approval to take the CPA Exam. In many states it is called an Authorization to Test (ATT).*|
|Step 6:||Choose the exam section(s) you’d like to start with and pay required fees to NASBA – total fees range from $650 – $950.* (Your initial access is only good for 6-12 months depending on your jurisdiction so it is advised you sign up for the sections you are confident you will be able to take within this time frame as your fees will be forfeited otherwise)|
|Step 7:||Begin studying for selected exam section(s) with Roger CPA Review.|
|Step 8:||Receive Notice To Schedule (NTS).|
|Step 9:||Schedule your Exam at www.prometric.com/cpa|
|Step 10:||Take your Exam at a Prometric Testing Center. You must bring the corresponding NTS and two forms of ID with matching names.|
|Step 11:||Receive scores 2-4 weeks after testing. Candidates have 18 months to pass all four sections of the exam.|
