Credit Requirements: None

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate Degree

Additional Requirements: 24 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in accounting, including financial accounting, auditing, and taxation

Residency Requirements

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship not required

Minimum Age: None

Additional Requirements: It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state

Social Security Requirement: Yes

Educational Requirement: 150 hours (including Bachelor's Degree)

Participates in International Exam Program: No

Experience Requirements: 1 year accounting experience as an employee of a firm engaged in public accountancy or as an accountant in government, industry, academia, or public practice. May be completed before, during, or after passing the CPA Exam.

Ethics Exam: Must pass AICPA Professional Ethics Exam
