As signs of economic recovery begin to sprout, a new study shows that hourly wages have risen for the 5th year in a row. According to, earnings reached $31.20 per hour in 2011, up about 3.2%, for all employees. Earnings have risen 10.1% over the past five years for management-level employees compared to a 9.1% increase for all employees.
