Every year, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) revises the CPA Exam to reflect new laws, evolving business practices, and industry changes.
Earlier this year, the AICPA announced that two sections of the CPA Exam will undergo major changes effective January 1, 2019: Regulation (REG) and Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR). In this video, CEO of Roger CPA Review, Roger Philipp, CPA, CGMA, discusses how REG is changing with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and how leases are changing in FAR to help companies be more transparent.
How does this affect you?
We highly recommend candidates sit for either FAR, REG, or both in 2018 in order to avoid these major changes going into effect next year. Watch the video below to see why it's important to sit for these sections now and how our new patent pending SmartPath Predictive Technology™ will help maximize your study efforts and enable you to pass faster than ever before.
