Welcome to our Student Spotlight! We love learning about our students' accomplishments and experiences after taking our course! Whether they take their newly-earned CPA designation to continue on to their dream job, or still have more sections of the CPA Exam to conquer, we're sharing their incredible achievements below.

Our September Spotlight is on Philip Salerno:

Philip just passed FAR on his first try and consistently inspires others with his unwavering persistence and dedication to passing the CPA Exam.

"But, when I found myself at a low point, I looked at a message I wrote on my refrigerator. It read, "Philip Salerno, CPA". I remembered why I was doing this."

Why did you take Roger CPA Review? I was looking for a review course that would maximize my study time and perfectly augment my learning style. I tried demos of all of the other review courses and found that Roger's course was the perfect match. I remember one night, I was going thru a demo of the one of the courses, and my wife said, "Seriously - Roger was way better than that." And he is.

How has passing the exams impacted your personal and professional life?: I still have three exams to go, but there has been a difference in the way I'm treated at work. Passing FAR on my first try has sent a clear message about the quality of Roger CPA Review.

Words of advice for those studying for the CPA exam? I started losing hope half way thru. I gave up my entire summer to study. I missed several outings with my wife and 3 year old daughter. But, when I found myself at a low point, I looked at a message I wrote on my refrigerator. It read, "Philip Salerno, CPA". I remembered why I was doing this. I even went to Roger's Facebook for support and his staff and other students were great and lended the needed support when I most needed it. Roger even sent me a few messages cheering me on! My advice Dont lose hope. This process is painful, sometimes almost unbearable, but if you keep studying, you will pass. I also motivated myself by telling myself that the next five minutes of study time could be the difference between a 74 and a 75, so finish strong.

Anything else you'd like to share?: Do not lose hope. Study, study, study. If you study, you will pass.
