The Roger team has been busy! In addition to providing you with the best CPA Exam review materials, we also participate every year in some of the major events for the accounting community. Here's a brief summary of how the events went this year:
American Accounting Association Annual Meeting
We were happy to see many faculty members come out and visit the Roger CPA Review booth. In addition to the free Professor Resource Kits we were providing, professors were also able to enter a raffle. Five professors have been selected and will be provided with a Free Roger CPA Review Course to award to a lucky student! (We'll be contacting those professors directly to provide them with more information and the award.)
Roger also met with the AICPA during the event. Stay tuned because we'll have more information on the updates from that meeting, including the 2011 CPA Exam changes, coming soon!
Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting
We were so excited to be exhibitors once again at this event, especially since it was near our headquarters! We had many students come by our booth and win supplies and other goodies from the Prize Wheel. We also got the chance to catch up with all of our wonderful campus representatives. You can find more information on that program here.
We'd also like to congratulate all participants and chapters that were awarded during the event. Beta Alpha Psi awards a number of chapters each year based on their recruiting efforts, superior status, and community outreach including the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant Program (VITA). The VITA program prepares income tax statements for free for those in their community. Roger CPA Review is committed to supporting community outreach and wants to congratulate Utah State, BYU, USC, and SFSU on their VITA program achievements this last year! We'd like to give special congratulations to all of our partner campuses that were awarded at the event!
We'll see everyone next year in Denver!
