This focus has helped aspiring accountants across the globe reach career success for almost 30 years.
Roger launched the company in 2001 with the goal to create a CPA review course that would alter the landscape of accounting education, and he continues to act as a key inspiration and spark for company innovation. His unique approach to teaching has fueled the company’s growth and resulted in the signature teaching methodology, The Roger Method™. Using this approach, Roger CPA Review editorial and teaching teams break down and simplify complex topics, with support from memory aids and mnemonic devices, to help students understand and retain information.
Roger’s early career began in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, where he earned his CPA designation, before transitioning to educational instruction. He was a lead instructor at Mark Dauberman CPA Review, before starting his own CPA Review course. Roger attributes his entrepreneurial success to the many doors his CPA license opened, as well as his passion for making professional education engaging and relevant for optimum effectiveness. In recent years, Roger was featured as one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Public Accounting.
Today, Roger is a member of the AICPA, CalCPA, and is on the Board of Directors for the American Professional Accounting Certification Providers Association (APACPA).
