Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: 120 semester units (180 quarter units).

Minimum Degree: None

Additional Requirements: At least 24 semester units of the required 120 must be in accounting classes; of those 24 hours, courses must be 300 (Junior) level or higher. At least 24 semester units of the required 120 must be in business classes (lower- and upper-division accepted). South Carolina residents must take the exam as South Carolina candidates if they intend to seek licensure in the state. Must have social security number or resident alien number to sit for the exam.

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required.

Minimum Age: 18
