Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: 150 semester units (225 quarter units) required for licensure, but not needed to sit for the exam.

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate with 150 semester units or Graduate degree with 150 semester units or special 120 hour rule.

Additional Requirements: Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 24 semester units in accounting and 24 semester units in general business, to include at least: 6 semester units in both fundamental and intermediate financial accounting 3 semester units in each advanced financial accounting, tax accounting, and auditing 3 semester units in both business law and economics.

Residency Requirements

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is not required.
