Roger Philipp, CPA

Roger Philipp, CPA combines a dynamic and motivational teaching approach with 20 years of CPA Review instruction to foster a full-service solution to the CPA Exam. From application to sit for the CPA Exam, to licensure, Roger acts as your mentor throughout the entire journey.

Using the Roger Method™ of instruction, Roger breaks down and teaches difficult concepts using helpful memory aids and real life scenarios to help his students best learn. And, to ensure the most streamlined study experience, he also writes Roger CPA Review Course Textbooks with a team of expert editors. As one of his current students claimed, "I learned more from Roger's course than I did in every college accounting course. Combined."

How He Began

After earning his CPA license at Deloitte and Touche in downtown Los Angeles, Roger began teaching CPA review in 1988 at the notable Dauberman CPA Review where he quickly becoming head instructor. He eventually went on to teach with Mark's CPA Review and Stanly Kaplan CPA Review, but was continuously encouraged by his former students to found his own review course. This dream finally became a reality in 2001 with the opening of Roger CPA Review.

Behind the Scenes

While Roger has always been involved in every aspect of the company, he now spends a good portion of time jetting across the country and to our international locations in order to motivate students to reach their goals. Roger enjoys taking time off to spend with his wife and children, whom he lives with in San Francisco, CA.
