Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: None. Must have 27 semester hours of accounting courses (3 hours of which have to be in Auditing), and 21 semester hours of business courses (no more than 6 hours in any one subject). (Requirements may vary. Contact the Colorado State Board for more information.)

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate degree

Additional Requirements: Additional education beyond Baccalaureate degree may reduce experience requirement for certification.
