Education Requirements

Credit Requirements: Dependent on Degree Held

Minimum Degree: Baccalaureate degree

Additional Requirements: 150 semester units (225 quarter units) with Baccalaureate from Level 3 accredited educational institution including 30 semester units of accounting with a minimum grade of "C" and 24 semester units in business or Graduate degree with concentration in accounting from an accounting program with Level 1 accreditation or Graduate degree from a business school with Level 2 accreditation and 30 semester units of accounting with a minimum grade of "C" in each course. Requirements are due to change January 2008. Arkansas considers 3 levels of accreditation in evaluating coursework at different Universities and requires a minimum number of hours in specific subjects.
