The requirements listed below relate only to eligibility to sit for and take the Uniform CPA Examination in the State of Indiana.

To be eligible to take the Certified Public Accountant examination or reexamination the applicant must possess the following qualifications:

Education Requirements

Hours required to sit for the exam
150 semester hours (225 quarter hours) with Baccalaureate

Minimum degree required:

Baccalaureate degree

Additional Requirements:

Baccalaureate degree with minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting at undergraduate or graduate level or

Graduate degree with minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting at undergraduate level or 15 semester hours at the graduate level

Baccalaureate or Graduate degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business administration and economics courses, other than accounting at the undergraduate or graduate level

 

 

Residency Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is not required

Minimum age: none

It is not necessary to be a resident, employee, or keep office(s) in the state.
