(225 quarter hours) needed for certification, but not needed to sit for the exam
Minimum degree required:
Baccalaureate degree
Additional Requirements:
Degree with concentration in accounting and minimum of 15 semester hours in accounting or 1 year of public accounting experience Individual is considered qualified to take the exam if they have met or are within 18 semester credit hours of meeting the undergraduate educational requirements and have completed at least 15 semester hours of accounting subjects. Residency Requirements U.S. Citizenship not required
